What even is a treasure hunt?

It’s a puzzle-solving adventure! Teams work together to solve a series of puzzles and clues, each one leading to the next, and race to the final goal or hidden treasure. A lot like an escape room, but out in the big wide world. It can be anything from an hour to days long, and tailored to any area (big or small)! In the past we’ve done everything from a spy mystery to a classic hunt for buried pirate treasure. Check out our past adventures for more.

What kind of occasions can you do?

Because they’re custom created for you, we can design an adventure to suit any occasion! Think birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, reunions, anniversaries, Valentine’s day, proposals, team building events, and ‘just because’. We love creating them as a surprise to celebrate that special someone.

Can we do it remotely / online?

Yes! Since the lockdowns for COVID-19 we have been hard at work creating options for you to enjoy treasure hunts together without leaving your sofa. This can include physical clues mailed to participants, and plenty of online puzzling. Just let us know that you’d like an online adventure!

How much does one cost?

Since they’re fully custom, it really depends! See pricing.

How far in advance should I book?

Please contact us a minimum of one month before your event, but the sooner the better as we may have other treasure hunts booked around the same time. We want to create a truly unique adventure for you, so the more time we can dedicate the better it will be!

How many people can play?

Any number! We can design a treasure hunt for one person or a hundred. Depending on your group size, we’ll be able to recommend a format that ensures everyone gets involved.

Where are you based?

We’re based in Los Angeles, but happy to travel (costs will apply)!

What if something goes wrong?

We work hard to iron out the kinks before the big day, but sometimes life has other plans! During the hunt there’s always a way for players to get hints if they get stuck - depending on the size and scope of your treasure hunt, that could be someone physically with each team or at each puzzle, or a help line they can call. Whatever the case, we never abandon your players or let a group tear their hair out in frustration for too long!
